My brother and I spent hours last night arranging and folding and stapling and decorating hundreds of copies of Yoke.

OKAY, SO I KNOW STICKY WAS OUT OF STOCK FOR LIKE 1 WEEK AND 4 DAYS, BUT I WAS OUT OF STOCK TOO. THE AWESOME PEOPLE AT STICKY TOLD ME ABOUT THE LOVELY FOLK THAT CAME IN ASKING FOR YOKE BUT WERE SENT HOME EMPTY HANDED BECAUSE THEY HAD SOLD OUT.
But now Sticky is RE-STOCKED with plenty of Yoke (as of the 29th of September 2009).
Sorry about the inconvenience everyone... but you can grab your copy right now/now/now.

P.s. My mum reads Yoke so it must be reasonably okay.

LETTERS TO YOU

From Yoke

For those of you who are thinking "Where's my Yoke! I sent an envelope but you're taking so long to send me a Yoke, god dammit!". Well heeeeey guys, take it easy. Your Yokes are either A) Being delivered to your doorsteps this very moment, or B) I just received your envelopes and am busy decorating with sequins and glitter.

FIND A YOKE AT STICKY

Thank you to all the lovely people at Sticky today who helped with the birthing (printing) of Yoke. Yoke zine is currently being stocked within the Sticky Institute, so head in and grab your copy.

If you're unsure of where to find Sticky (but how could you be unsure? -- Sticky is pretty damn awesome, really), they're located in the Flinders Lane/Degraves underpass in the city. If you can't get there but would like a Yoke, send a self addressed envelope as stated in the post below.

While I was in Sticky today, a nice girl by the name of Anna Kaye gave me a CD of her music. I took it home and had a listen-- it's pretty sweet. Take a look and have a listen to her words.

Would you like one?

You can have piece of Yoke- even if you're interstate or overseas.

For those of you who can not physically reach Yoke, send a
SELF ADDRESSED + STAMPED ENVELOPE TO:
P.O. Box 181 Campbellfield,
Victoria, Australia, 3061

From here, I will mail you back a copy of Yoke which will be personalized, tied with string and maybe I'll even write you a little letter if you're super lucky and nice! I'm looking forward to receiving your envelopes and I hope you enjoy Yoke, issue 1. Kisses and hugs and everything else, Bianca.

P.S. Thank you to those of you who assisted in the creation of Yoke. It (Yoke, and your help), means alot to me.

(P.P.S. Please make sure you include a stamp on the self-addressed envelope- it's costing me enough to self fund the printing of the zine let alone additional stamps overseas and interstate! Thank you!)

Yoke wants your creative space.

This is mine:

Send us a photo of your creative space, (whether it be your desk, your pinboard, your sewing room, your kitchen, etc.) for a self-titled "Creative Space" segment. Along with the picture, write abit about your creative space and why you think it's special. The photos and text will be inserted in issue 1 of Yoke Mag. Who wouldn't want to show off their mess?
Thanks guys.

Searching for models/sneak peek at drafts.

We're looking for a model/models for our cover and two upcoming editorials. The model does not have to be a certain height nor a size 8. You can be any age, any height or any weight. We're looking for a unique face willing to pampered and photographed confidently and efficiently.

Here's a little sneak-peek at some of the drafts being done at the moment.

Welcome to Yoke, folks.

Yoke is a small zine publication run by a high school student with the assistance of various friends. We're all about life; the fashion that makes our saliva fall free from our mouths, the music we get lost in and the the art that makes us think. As 'n00bz' of the magazine world, we're thinking big and have some huge plans and tricks up our sleeves- so be prepared for some thumb-sucking, seizure-inducing madness.

The blog is running to inform our readers of updates, launches and any other little insignificant bits and pieces we think you may need to know. So drop us a line, keep yourselves updated and be nice, little Yokers.

Bianca and the Yoke team.
